The City Clerk's office is a six person office consisting of Connie Fulknier (City Clerk - Treasurer), Shawn Boggess (Deputy City Clerk & Accounts Payable), Kim Hicks (Accounts Receivable & Garbage and Municipal Fee Clerk) and Nancy Purcell, (General Fees).

This office handles a 4.7 million dollar budget, payroll (for approximately 80 people), accounts payable, accounts receivable, business licensing, B&O taxes, and garbage and municipal fees. Additionally, the City Clerk's office maintains minutes of all council meetings, ordinances, and committee meetings.

In other related duties to the city, the City Clerk's office conducts all city wide elections. Further, the City Clerk's office assists the police and fire departments in promotional testing and hiring.
